Junior IT Support Executive

Marcus Evans is a UK-based international company with offices around the world. We provide business information, events and professional services to clients across a wide range of industries and markets.

We are looking for a Junior IT Support Executive to join our Islamabad office. This is an ideal opportunity for a fresh IT/Computer Science graduate or someone at the beginning of their IT career who has good technical fundamentals and wants to develop their skills within a global IT environment.

This is primarily a Level 1 IT support role. Previous commercial IT experience is helpful but not essential, and training will be provided.

Location: Islamabad i-8 Markaz – Office based role
Working hours: 4pm–1am Islamabad time (including one hour break) (some flexibility where required)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support to users locally and remotely.

• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, laptops, desktops, software and general hardware issues.

• Assist users with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and other business applications.

• Carry out basic user administration in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including password resets and account unlocks.

• Assist with Microsoft Intune device management and deployment.

• Troubleshoot basic network, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity issues.

• Log and manage support requests through the Service Desk and escalate more complex issues to senior IT teams.

• Help maintain IT equipment and provide hands-on support within the Islamabad office.

• Work with our wider IT teams supporting offices around the world.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related subject, or currently completing one.

• Good understanding of Windows and general PC troubleshooting.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and networking.

• An interest in learning technologies such as Microsoft Intune and cloud-based IT services.

• Good written and spoken English.

• A helpful attitude, good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Microsoft certifications such as MS-900 or AZ-900 are helpful but not required.
