About the role:

At Marcus Evans, our people are the cornerstone of our success, and the Global Learning & Development (L&D) department is integral to nurturing that cornerstone. Currently, the L&D team is essential in shaping our workforce through comprehensive new hire training and ongoing professional development. This role is already pivotal, directly influencing our organizational growth and operational excellence.

As the Learning & Quality (L&Q) Analyst at Marcus Evans, you will reporting to the Global L&D Manager and be the driving force behind our data-driven approach to Learning & Development. You'll oversee global L&D data, manage comprehensive reporting, and provide actionable insights that shape the success of our training programs across all business verticals. Your role will be crucial in evaluating program ROI, uncovering opportunities for enhancement, and ensuring our global initiatives align with strategic objectives. By harnessing advanced analytics and technology, you'll empower stakeholders with the insights needed to drive impactful decisions and foster continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management and Ownership: Oversee and manage global data related to Learning & Development programs across all business verticals, ensuring data integrity and accuracy at every stage of the employee life cycle.
  2. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards that track the ROI of global training programs, providing actionable insights to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  3. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify trends, and make recommendations for improving training programs and processes.
  4. Program Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of L&D programs through detailed analysis of data, providing insights into program performance and areas for improvement.
  5. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with L&D teams, business leaders, and other stakeholders to align reporting and data analysis with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing data collection methods, reporting processes, and overall data management to support global L&D initiatives.
  7. Technology Integration: Assist in the integration and optimization of technology solutions to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis processes.
  8. Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure compliance with data management policies and maintain accuracy in reporting to support transparency and accountability.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role, preferably within Learning & Development or HR.
  3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  5. Experience in managing and reporting on multiple data sets simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Excellent communication skills to effectively present data and insights to various stakeholders.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and delivering results.
  8. Quick learner, adaptable to new technologies, processes, and organizational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  2. Global Experience: Experience working in a global organization with exposure to international data management and reporting practices.
  3. Technological Expertise: Advanced knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools, and experience integrating technology into data solutions.
