Marcus Evans Malaysia SDN BHD is seeking a Payroll Executive to join our payroll team. The candidate will support the full payroll function as well as social insurance and tax related processes for APAC countries.
This is a full time role based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process timely and accurate payroll processing of basic salaries, commission, bonuses, and year end processing while maintaining strict confidentially of information reviewed and processed.
- Creating a new hire profile in payroll system.
- Prepare Tax clearance for affected resignee & updating new hires and resignee in statutory portal.
- Handle employee queries pertaining to payroll related matters.
- Preparation of summary payroll reports for Finance Department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, human resource, or a similar field.
- Individual with 2 to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge on Malaysian labor law is required
- Knowledge of payroll processing, including date entry, pay calculations, tax and benefits.
- Work experience supporting Asia Pacific region or multiple countries (preferred).
- Proficient knowledge in using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Work and Teams.
- Japanese speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Pro-active and able to exercise good judgement when managing diverse stakeholders’ demands and requirements.
