Job description

Marcus Evans, a global leader in business information with 49 offices around the world, is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to build and manage relationships with C-level attendees for a portfolio of corporate events across various industries. In this role, you will oversee client communications, ensuring a seamless experience before and after events.

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate professional to join our Client Relationship Management department. This person will be reporting to the Head of Delegate Relationships Management.

A strong grasp of and ability to operate in an English - speaking environment is essential to be successful in the role.

This is an in-person role located in our Nicosia office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth industry expertise and stay informed on key trends.

  • Understand the dynamics of each event, including attendees and solution providers.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with C-level clients for multiple events in US and Europe.

  • Communicate regularly via email and phone to ensure client satisfaction and engagement.

  • Collaborate with Heads of Sales to drive retention and maximize client experience.

 

Qualifications

  • EU passport-holder.

  • 3 years of experience in sales, account management or customer relations.

  • A strong grasp of the English language is required (both written and spoken).

  • Background in English-language education preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) & master’s degree is considered an advantage.

  • Work Experience in analysis, research, sales, account management, or customer relations is an advantage.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • A team player with a high-performance mindset.

  • Flexibility in working hours when dealing with clients based in the US. Working hours are 7.5 per day but may need to be adjusted based on event.
