Job description

Marcus Evans is an international company with offices around the world, organising high-level business events, conferences and summits for senior executives from leading global companies.

 

We are looking for motivated, curious and confident individuals to join our team in Nicosia or in Limassol and help create international business events across Europe and North America.

 

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Enjoys research and learning about different industries

No previous conference experience is required — full training will be provided.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Nicosia or Limassol office. Working hours may sometimes vary depending on the region and event you are working on.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching Business Topics: You will research important industry trends and business challenges by reading articles, following market news, and speaking directly with senior executives from global companies.

  • Creating Event Agendas: Using your research, you will help design conference programmes and discussion topics that are interesting, relevant and valuable to business leaders.

  • Inviting Speakers: You will identify and invite senior executives and industry experts to speak at our events and share their insights.

  • Organising Event Content: You will coordinate speaker information, schedules and programme details to ensure events are well-organised and run smoothly.

  • Working with International Teams: You will collaborate with colleagues across different departments and offices to help deliver successful global events.

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Curious mindset and interest in business trends.

  • Good writing and organisational abilities.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask.

  • Positive attitude and team spirit.

  • Interest or knowledge in investments or capital markets is a plus.
