Linguarama is a leading international language and intercultural training organisation that specialises in providing face-to-face and online courses for business professionals in-company, in our own professionally equipped training centres and worldwide in the virtual classroom. We offer a range of individual and small group courses in all languages that enable our clients to communicate more effectively in their work. These include Foreign Language programmes, English in England courses, Cross Cultural Training Courses, and specialist skills seminar training. Over the last forty years, we have developed established relationships with over sixty per cent of Europe's major companies as a result of the quality of our training and service.
We are keen to hear from applicants for the position Senior Teacher / Trainee Pedagogical Manager, to start as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer who wishes to develop his/her career in a well-established company specialised in corporate language and international communications training.
This is a role for our office in Milan.
Key Responsibilities
Involvement in the whole process of running a course: testing, needs analysis, course programming, lesson scheduling, promoting the marcus evans Linguarama training approach and materials, ongoing course monitoring and feedback activity.
Supporting the pedagogical management team in developing the teaching approach, onboarding new trainers, mentoring, training, observation, feedback and meetings.
A teaching element of around 15-20 hours’ teaching per week.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a degree, CELTA or equivalent and at least 5 years’ relevant teaching experience.
DELTA or equivalent or a commitment towards completing it would be desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Proven IT and administrative skills.
Experience of virtual and online teaching technology.
A commitment to pedagogical development.
English level C2.
A minimum of Italian level B1.
