As a Digital Media & PR Intern, you will support our Marketing team in delivering media and PR activities across a portfolio of corporate events targeting the German market. You will gain hands-on experience in identifying and managing media and association partnerships that drive exposure for our key event brands and the Marcus Evans brand overall. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in marketing, with real responsibilities and room to grow.

This is an in-person role located in our Nicosia office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of each event across various industries, including content, delegate, and sponsorship target audiences within the German market.

  • Support the identification of external German-language media and association partnerships aligned with target markets.

  • Assist with media outreach and partnership contracting to negotiate mutually beneficial promotional arrangements.

  • Contribute to the fulfillment of media partnerships, including drafting copy in both English and German for electronic and print promotions, press releases, email campaigns, and social media channels.

  • Ensure all written content is SEO-friendly to maximize organic search visibility.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to support revenue-generating initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • EU passport-holder.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Fluent in German (written and spoken) is a must; fluency in English is required.

  • Previous internship or academic project experience in marketing, media, or PR is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with email campaign software or advertising tools is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and writing skills in both German and English.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and driven attitude.

  • Basic knowledge of SEO is a plus.
