We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Business Analyst with a focus on JIRA and documentation to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, creating comprehensive documentation, and ensuring the effective use of JIRA for project tracking and management. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in JIRA, and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.

 

This is a position for one of our offices in India.

Key Responsibilities

 

  1.       Business Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.

  • Identify business problems and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop business process workflows.

 

2.       JIRA Management:

  • Configure and maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and schemes.

  • Ensure proper usage of JIRA, develop and generate JIRA reports and dashboards to track project progress and performance.

  • Monitor JIRA for issues and optimize for better performance.

 

3.       Documentation:

  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive project documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.

  • Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Develop user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

 

4.       Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between business units, development and support teams.

  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and document business requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.

5. Project Support:

  • Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring.

  • Support project teams in tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and reports.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or any related field.

  • 0-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.

  • Proficiency in JIRA for project management and issue tracking.

  • Strong experience in creating and maintaining detailed documentation.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

  • Knowledge of other project management tools (e.g., Confluence).

  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
