We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Executive to join our Professional Training Division in our Cape Town office. This role is ideal for someone with strong research and communication skills, a commercial mindset, and a passion for creating impactful training programs.

This is an in-person role based in our Cape Town office.

Key Responsibilities

1.Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth desk research on proposed training topics, including competitor analysis and industry trends.

Identify and evaluate potential trainers based on their professional background, training experience, and speaking credentials.

2.Trainer Engagement

  • Source and shortlist at least three qualified trainers per course topic.

  • Request and review course agendas from selected trainers.

  • Negotiate trainer fees and terms of engagement.

3.Market Validation

  • Conduct market research calls with key industry contacts (both existing clients and new leads) to assess demand for proposed training topics.

  • Analyze feedback, research findings, and trainer proposals to determine the commercial viability of each course.

4.Course Development & Launch

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to decide whether to proceed with a course.

  • Finalize trainer selection, confirm course dates, and issue contracts.

  • Work with the design team to develop course brochures and marketing materials.

5.Sales & Marketing Support

  • Prepare comprehensive product briefs for the sales and marketing teams.

  • Deliver internal briefings to ensure alignment before promotional activities begin.

6.Project Management & Administration

  • Oversee all administrative aspects of course production, including proofreading brochures, managing trainer contracts, creating course webpages, and tracking budgets.

  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of confirmed events.

7.Post-Event Review

  • Analyze delegate feedback and provide insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Commercial awareness and negotiation ability

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online research tools

  • Experience with LinkedIn and CRM systems is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in a research, production, or project coordination role (preferably in training, events, or professional services)
