Marcus Evans — Sponsorship Sales Division

Marcus Evans is a global business intelligence and event-marketing leader (since 1983) delivering 300+ premium conferences annually. We bring together senior executives who invest in innovation and transformation — quality over quantity, conversations that drive decisions.

The role — Sell high-value sponsorships and build C-suite relationships You will target and win sponsorship partnerships with senior stakeholders across leading organizations, positioning Marcus Evans conferences as strategic platforms that deliver measurable commercial impact.

We are located at Hampshire Place office Kuala Lumpur, easy assessable to MRT & LRT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win revenue: Drive new sponsorship sales and close high-value deals that meet quarterly and annual targets.

  • Build influence: Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers.

  • Consultative selling: Lead tailored, solution-focused conversations that align sponsorship packages with client objectives and KPIs.

  • Manage a premium pipeline: Qualify, nurture, and progress a refined set of opportunities with high-touch client management.

  • Deliver with professionalism: Represent Marcus Evans at events and in client meetings, ensuring flawless execution and post-sale delivery.

Qualifications

  • Recent fresh graduates with strong interest in business and sales are welcome!

  • B2B sales or business development experience; events, media, or sponsorship sales strongly preferred.

  • Confident communicator and influencer, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.

  • Proactive hunter: cold outreach, relationship building, and pipeline creation from scratch.

  • Commercially savvy, resilient, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-led environment.
