Marcus Evans, founded in 1983, is a global business intelligence and event marketing company, with 49 offices in 20+ countries and we are excited to announce the launch of our new office in Rabat, dedicated to supporting high-level business events in the US market.

We produce 100+ Summits annually around the globe. Our events feature insightful thought leadership, industry intelligence, and strategic partnerships between buyers and sellers. We work with world leaders in a variety of industries, including healthcare, legal, pharmaceutical, investments, energy, and packaging. Our client base is comprised of C-level executives from 90+% of existing fortune 1000 companies.

We are now accepting applicants for Sales Executives in our US Summits Division to develop new accounts and manage ongoing client relationships. This role will work exclusively with our US market from our Rabat office on a range of Summits in many industries. You will be individually mentored by one of our senior sales leaders and top sales performers so that you will achieve quick success working with C-level Executives based in America. This role requires flexibility on working hours to accommodate US clients.

This is a full-time, in-office role located in our new Rabat office which is opening soon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating and prospecting new leads.

  • Contacting, qualifying, and engaging prospects through cold calling and messaging.

  • Negotiate and close registrations with C-level decision makers by learning about their business needs and converting that intelligence into business opportunities.

  • Keeping an organized record of sales activity and pipeline management on our CRM platform - HubSpot.

  • Acting on behalf of the company and our clients in the delivery of our exceptional products and services.

Qualifications

  • Strong spoken and written English skills are essential.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

  • 1-3 years of corporate experience in a sales or business development role will be considered a definite advantage.

  • International experience either through work or studies will also be a definite advantage.

  • A collaborative mindset, a high level of emotional intelligence, and a strong team player.

  • Excellent communication skill set - listening, questioning, and tactical empathy.

  • Driven to close new business, a goal orientated mind-set, and a determination to succeed.

  • An effective pipeline management skill set: Research, time management, and organizational skills.
