We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer with 5+ years of experience who combines strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is highly creative, user-focused, and up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technological advancements. In this role, you will own end-to-end user experience design, contribute to scalable and consistent design solutions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership across regions.

You will play a key role in shaping user experiences for our digital products while working within established workflows, governance, and compliance standards. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers and help shape design maturity and scalable UX practices across the organisation.

 

This is a hybrid role based in our Mumbai office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the entire UX/UI lifecycle from discovery, ideation, and research to high-fidelity design, validation, and delivery.

  • Design user-centered experiences including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups for web and mobile platforms.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user behaviour, needs, and pain points and translate insights into design decisions.

  • Perform competitor analysis, UX audits, and market benchmarking to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, business stakeholders, and leadership teams across regions to align UX with business goals.

  • Design, maintain, and evolve design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure scalability and consistency across products.

  • Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Clearly present and defend design concepts and rationale, securing stakeholder buy-in through effective communication.

  • Monitor user feedback, analytics, and performance metrics to iterate and continuously improve designs post-launch.

  • Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, providing feedback, design reviews, and professional development support.

  • Contribute to improving design processes, workflows, and governance while maintaining agility and speed.

 

Must have skills

  • Strong expertise in UI/UX design principles, usability heuristics, and design thinking methodologies.

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience with tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

  • Proven experience creating wireframes, prototypes, personas, user journeys, and UX documentation.

  • Strong understanding of responsive and accessible design (WCAG standards).

  • Experience working in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Good to have skills

  • Experience with interaction design, motion design, or micro-animations (After Effects, Principle, ProtoPie, Lottie).

  • Familiarity with enterprise-level design systems and scalable component libraries.

  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Experience using UX analytics or AI-assisted design tools.

  • Experience designing for global, multilingual, or multi-region products.

  • Prior experience mentoring designers or leading design reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership, creativity, and impact.

  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing and translating insights into design solutions.

  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum development environments.
