We are looking for driven, enthusiastic, and passionate professionals to join our Summits division as a pre-sales researcher. You will be responsible for the creation and execution of marketing campaigns using direct mail and email, within budget, to promote events to senior decision-makers in major organizations throughout the region.
This is a junior position, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
This is an in-person role located in our Cape Town office.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth market research to identify and profile senior decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, Directors, and other C-suite executives aligned with event themes and business objectives.
Develop, maintain, and optimize targeted prospect databases using CRM systems, industry databases, and professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn.
Gather, verify, and maintain accurate, relevant, and up-to-date market intelligence to support marketing campaigns and event development.
Analyze industry trends, target markets, and geographic regions to identify high-value prospects and business opportunities.
Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aimed at generating qualified leads and sponsorship opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the effectiveness and reach of event marketing initiatives.
Plan, implement and monitor marketing campaigns to generate marketing referrals for sponsorship sales and direct marketing.
Proactively contribute to the overall effectiveness of event marketing campaigns
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience in lead generation, market research, business development, or data-driven prospecting.
1–2 years of practical marketing experience will be advantageous.
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to identify and qualify potential clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
Ability to start immediately is preferred.
